3. Helpful suggestions for improving the program:
  • Do it in 2 days (vs. 2-1/2).
  • Might have actual role playing of conflict resolution, etc.
  • Liked the group activity and hands on.
  • Use PowerPoint (kidding). I love interactive, participative exercises. More is better. It makes us think.
  • Warm choc. Cookies at afternoon breaks.
  • 5-minute breaks on the hour - let the blood flow. Eliminate 15 min. breaks.
  • It was fine.
  • Very energized after 1st day. Not so the 2nd day. Energized again the 3rd day.
  • Better methods/tricks to remember basic personality components.
  • An automatic screen reflector.
  • I think you've done that since I went through the course the last time. High impact. The time flew by.
  • A few more breaks (short bio breaks).
  • I felt that the last day went by too fast.
  • More review throughout.
  • Section on comparison of two lotteries.
  • Thought program was well structured.
  • A couple more practical exercises would be nice. Other than that, do not change a thing.

4. How has the Performance Dynamics assessment and feedback influenced you?
  • It has caused me to examine how some of my behaviors jeopardize relation-ships with family, colleagues, etc.
  • In many ways. Seeing myself as I am, not as I perceived.
  • It has provided a very important tool to give me the opportunity to make positive change and some practical ways to do it.
  • Certainly.
  • Realize specific characteristics.
  • It has given me a new understanding and appreciation of feedback I have and will receive. I'm sorry to say I have been defensive in the past.
  • Made me look at the inner me.
  • To change in a positive manner. Pointed out areas that others had noticed, but I was in denial.
  • Highlighted importance of blocking out personality traits and slowing down to let it happen.
  • To perform like a respectful leader.
  • I see what's in the mirror (I was surprised). I'm going in new directions.
  • It has reinforced what I believe about who I am and has also opened my eyes to what I need to be!
  • Opened my eyes to some shortcomings. I knew I needed to be more tactful but I really need to listen better.
  • It shows me that not only is this used at work, but it can be applied in the home, too.
  • Work on my good will and communication skills.
  • Profoundly! Needed a "Reality Check." Opened my eyes to areas I need to be aware of with respect to leadership style.
  • Caused me to take a close look at who I am and line it up against who I thought I was - then decide who I am going to be.

5. How do you think this program will influence your leadership style?
  • I realize I must concentrate on improving my social skills, good will, and avoidance.
  • I'd like to think I'll use the feedback to become more assertive when necessary and more user friendly and compassionate when the situation warrants it.
  • Will grow as a person.
  • Absolutely.
  • Recognize pitfalls quicker.
  • I will be more willing to share ideas. I have a clear picture of what teamwork really is.
  • It will help.
  • By making me a leader.
  • Strongly, if I stay in balance and utilize strong mgmt systems alongside.
  • Very conscientious.
  • Gain the balance that I need.
  • It will improve my leadership. I have real take aways from this program that, if I choose to work on, will make me a better leader.
  • I will listen more and try to get more employees to be involved in decisions that affect the company and their lives.
  • The dynamics show me where I am at; that I need to one down in some areas and pick it up in others; that I can be at the effective range in everything with a little bit of time and good practice. My Performance Dynamics is not set in concrete. I can and will change in a positive way that not only impacts me but the people who are around me in a positive way.
  • Will help improve social skills and the people aspect of leadership.
  • I plan on focusing on the areas which I need to make me a better leader - social skills, communication, team building.
  • A deeper level of compassion for those who I influence and a higher level of communication.

6. What makes this program different from others you've attended?
  • In-depth; good exposure to many authors/ideas.
  • The focus is not on management. It's on leadership. Most people don't aspire to be managers, but virtually everyone would like to become a leader.
  • A different approach at seeing how people get along and work together.
  • Personalized; leadership vs. management.
  • Performance Dynamics.
  • I have control of any and all changes by changing myself.
  • The personal measurement.
  • Everything.
  • The personality of Rick and Paul.
  • It's gotten my attention.
  • This program ties it all together. More comprehensive approach.
  • This program encourages participation from the members, not just a lecture.
  • Two speakers and not one. Smaller group so you do not feel like a number in a crowd.
  • More in-depth.
  • Subject matter of personality traits and power bases got down to the real issues of looking at myself.
