3. Helpful suggestions for improving the program:
  • Lower the air conditioning.
  • At times, due to my failing eyesight, I could not make out all the slides. One break in the morning and only one break in the afternoon session is not enough.
  • Warmer (temp.) environment.
  • One more short break into the program. I know it is a lot of material to cover but just add another short break.
  • More bathroom breaks
  • Maybe make it 3 full days. I could definitely do 3 days at this type of training. It was great.
  • I would like to see more table space. I felt crowded.
  • More activities. Get folks out of their seats.
  • Turn the air conditioning down.
  • Day one was mostly lecture. Break it up with an exercise, if possible.
  • Turn up the heat in the room. Try not to keep talking during a reading or writing exercise. I found it a little distracting and it made it difficult to focus on the task.
  • The ability to see more of the off-set characters - meaning high in something, but low in another allow for balance.
  • PowerPoint instead of overhead slides (only kidding).
  • There could be at least one more person presenting on day 2.
  • None at this time, except more space at the tables.

4. How has the Performance Dynamics assessment and feedback influenced you?
  • I have seen some of my faults and will strive to improve them and become that leader.
  • The assessment has made me aware of some behavioral changes that previously were not apparent.
  • Providing me with some stepping stones to utilize as I seek to be the best leader (in life) possible.
  • It has opened my eyes to some critical areas I need to work on (i.e., communication and good will).
  • Eye opening on several aspects. It will help me work on my deficiencies and try to maintain my strengths.
  • Tremendously. I was pretty amazed at how accurate it was.
  • It opened my eyes to areas I felt good about, but now know I can improve.
  • It has assisted in identifying several areas where my behavior is not what I believed. I need to begin focusing on a couple at a time.
  • Personal and home!
  • Fairly consistent with others, similar ones I've gotten in the past. Helpful in highlighting some behavioral tendencies that I need to work on continually.
  • It has opened my eyes to areas of improvement.
  • Have been able to see what needs to change and given the steps to be able to change.
  • Need to work on the human behavior side of life.
  • I will make certain my expectations are reasonable.
  • Has made me look deeply at my makeup as a person.
  • Many strong personal insights for both work and family.

5. How do you think this program will influence your leadership style?
  • It will definitely make me a better leader but, most importantly, a better dad, husband, and a better person.
  • More collaboration, more reflection on my life and family relationship before they are not available and time moves on.
  • The program can do nothing but improve my leadership style.
  • Positive impact. . . if I act upon the understanding and have the strength to stay the course.
  • Change the way I approach people and make me think about how it is affecting them.
  • I should be able to lead better by knowing where my tendencies are derived.
  • I believe it will be very beneficial in my working relationship with my manager.
  • Slow me down. Focus on the people more. Add better focus, structure, and direction. Watch how I am implementing changes.
  • Will help me think of the important things I never thought were important.
  • Focus more on people. Don't be too quick to compromise.
  • I will try to be a better listener and focus on two-way communications.
  • Will have a positive impact, not only professionally, but personally.
  • Greatly.
  • I will be more tactful when communicating with people.
  • Will let me look at the human side of work.
  • Slow down; more social; greater direction setting.

6. What makes this program different from others you've attended?
  • The presenters kept it alive.
  • The integration of the assessment with the material being presented personalizes the program.
  • Pragmatic and useful.
  • It held my attention, moved at a good pace, and was useful.
  • It deals with the one area in business that I can have almost complete control over - ME.
  • I have never attended anything like this before, but this was a great experience and I look forward to coming back in 5 years.
  • The way it was presented. Two presenters was great. Kept participants excited.
  • More intense - more behavior and action oriented.
  • Upbeat, very informative. They have solid facts which is amazing.
  • Discussions of pitfalls of both ends of the various scores was helpful. I haven't seen too much of that.
  • I have not attended others.
  • More focus on me. Not just read and try to apply to myself.
  • First time in this type of program.
  • Help personal and professional life.
  • Rick and Paul came over honest and sincere, not just presenters.
  • Relating more scores personally to each insight.
