1. The quality of the program
  • Fantastic. Tremendous self realization.
  • The quality is excellent. The research seems sound and supports the topics well.
  • The quality of the program was excellent. I expected the focus to be on business leadership only, but was surprised by the personal application as well.
  • Very well organized.
  • Excellent (2)
  • A++. My opinion is that everyone should know this of themselves.
  • Great program, all of the information was greatly organized. Very good group exercises and participation.
  • The quality of the program is outstanding!
  • One of the best.

2. Professional presentation of the instructors:
  • Very well organized and real. Examples and ideas were extremely well thought out.
  • It is awesome to have two presenters feed off of each other. The change up keeps the interest and excitement level up.
  • Very professionally presented and at a very comprehensive level. Not just a 10,000 foot viewpoint.
  • Nice job keeping the meeting moving.
  • Great content and style.
  • Very! But with a personal influence and never boring.
  • Very professional, but not stifling. I was able to feel very comfortable with questions and understanding exercises.
  • It was a lot of information, but all the materials and style of Rick and Paul made it extremely easy to understand.
  • Very Good.
  • Very Good / Excellent.

3. Helpful suggestions for improving the program:
  • Cookies.
  • Develop a metric that shows who you are compared to others in your company.
  • Have people open up in the beginning and the end with their scores and how they will try to change.
  • Possible: the exercises that involved groups and scores – plot them in Excel during the class to show the data in other ways.
  • Consider adding to the listening section specific questions about what three (3) people said. It will drive home that we really don’t listen to other people.
  • I was not prepared for the “deep soul searching” that occurred during this course.

4. How has the Performance Dynamics assessment and feedback influenced you?
  • Yes, my self image was finally shown to me. I now have a starting place. A place to begin from and grow.
  • It has really helped me to look at myself. I think that I “suffer” from self deception, and this has opened up my mind.
  • Yes. My biggest epiphany was that I have been able to manage my shortcomings – very unconsciously, and was not aware of the underlying actuality of my shortcomings.
  • Showed me that I have specific areas I need to work on to improve. Keep doing things, just be cautious not to burn out.
  • Highlighted my areas I need to improve.
  • Alot, both personal and professional.
  • Made me open my eyes to my areas we need to work on.
  • It has shown me some good things that I do and also some things that could inhibit my development. Not only as a leader, but as a better person.
  • I have improved my listening skills and will do my best to continue not interrupting people when they speak.
  • The course has given me the opportunity and the tools to research and change my behavior.

5. How do you think this program will influence your leadership style?
  • Tremendous. I know the areas to grow in.
  • I may not become a leader in a reporting structure but plan to use the skills learned to become a leader by other’s choice.
  • Personally and professionally, I need to address several issues, i.e., stop being the opinionated expert and start listening and involving others more.
  • Become a better manager.
  • Improve my listening and communication skills.
  • It has made me aware of not only how I manage, but also how I affect others. It will also affect how I influence my family.
  • It will help me greatly with my overall attitude.
  • It will help me form better relationships and cement greater camaraderie with my team at work. We will be more productive and have more focus, structure, and direction.
  • I will be more collaborative. I will get to know my personnel better and go out of my way to remember to ask about personal issues.
  • I will not hold back, maintain positive attitude, and accept others’ ideas more readily.

6. What makes this program different from others you've attended?
  • More personal.
  • It provides information on whom you are first so that I can make changes. Other training classes only tell you how to change, but without a baseline (self awareness), you don’t know what to change.
  • Without sounding too psychological, I believe this course provided the best insight into me that I have ever had. Now I’m really more aware of what I need to work on to improve my leadership skills.
  • It talked about general topics, but the specific data was directed at my competencies.
  • Different modes of presentations. Good, real-life stories.
  • It identified both strong and weaker points as it applies to me.
  • I did not feel lectured. I was able to realize issues on my own through the exercises.
  • I really helped you to focus on your individual weaknesses and strengthen them. I loved the one-on-one interaction with the instructors.
  • This is the first leadership program I have ever attended.
  • I was emotionally involved in the class.
