Scott Williams joined the Giombetti team in 2017 when he was introduced by a mutual friend to Ross, and the bromance has grown steadily ever since. In fact, Scott became Ross’ professional shuffleboard coach. Ross has an aspiration of joining the professional shuffleboard circuit when he finally grows up (TBD).
Originally from Upper Utopia (Upper Arlington), Scott and his wife Kris have been married for 20+ years and now reside in Dublin, Ohio (“Dubz”). Kris is a first-grade schoolteacher at Bailey Elementary and recently had the honor of receiving the prestigious Shamrock Award for the Dublin School District. Their son Josh is a Civil Engineering Student at the University of Cincinnati; their son Zach is a Senior at Jerome High School; and Scott’s favorite child, Sammy, is an adorable 8th grade gal who is planning on being recognized sometime this year for her acting/dancing and plans to move to LA as soon as possible. Scott used to be an avid marathon runner (47Xs) and now prefers competitive ice cream eating contests.
The first decade of his career was spent working in the counseling field as a clinical supervisor at Maryhaven for dual-diagnosed youth and as the director of the Buckeye Ranch, both located in Columbus, Ohio. Scott says that his favorite job was when he had the privilege of conducting mental-health assessments for the homeless in Columbus, Ohio. (No, his favorite job wasn’t when he was a chemical waste warrior working on a superfund site, being a 3rd generation concession consultant, running a Christmas tree lot, or cutting hams at Honey Baked Ham).
Scott spent 20 years working as a Global Sales Executive for disruptive technology companies such as AT&T, IBM, ServiceNow, & Twilio. Although Scott’s home-away-from home used to be the Marriott Marquis in downtown San Francisco, he is adjusting well to the Delaney House in Holyoke, MA, where his charisma and expertise are put to good use during our Leadership Training Programs. Scott also enjoys working with Private Equity Firms as an advisor/consultant who specializes (SigEx) in product, marketing and sales go-to-market strategies. The Giombetti team and our clients benefit greatly from Scott’s many talents. Scott balances empathy and logic very well to provide others with thoughtful guidance.
