Giombetti Associates Will Be Offering A 9-week, Two-Topic, Live Webinar Series
Featuring Senior Advisor Andrea Capuano

This live webinar series, featuring two topics over nine consecutive weeks, is designed to provide information about how to overcome some of today’s biggest obstacles. Each weekly, interactive segment is an hour long and held on consecutive Tuesdays from 10–11 a.m. EST (see the 2024 schedule below.) All you need is Zoom video conferencing and a desire to learn!

Courage To Be Vulnerable—First 5 Weeks

Do you want to be more courageous, less guarded and embrace risk and failure? Then this webinar is for you!

Contrary to popular belief, vulnerability is not weakness. It takes vulnerability to be brave—you must take risks and put yourself out there to make things happen.

Vulnerability is a complex concept. We want to help you develop a deeper understanding of what drives it, how your personality and behavior may be disrupting it, and how to continuously strengthen it within your relationships and amongst the professional team you work with, so you can lead a more vulnerable, happy life.

According to DDI’s Global Leadership Forecast 2023, “Only 32% of leaders say they trust senior leaders in their organization. But the research also showed that employees are 5.3 times more likely to trust their leaders if they regularly show vulnerability. And employees were 7.5 times more likely to trust leaders who genuinely acknowledge their own failures and shortcomings.”

Components of Trust—Final 4 Weeks

Do you want to trust in others, be more trusted and build confidence in your communication so you can have stronger relationships? Then this webinar is for you!

Trust is not a one-dimensional concept turned on and off by a switch. Trust is so broad and is often misinterpreted; it’s much more complex than we think.

This webinar will help you develop a deeper understanding of what drives trust, how your personality and behavior may be disrupting the trust-building process, and how to continuously strengthen trust within your relationships and amongst the professional teams you work with or lead to live a most trusting, happy life.

According to MIT Sloan, “Research shows that trust is a critical driver of engagement. Trusting employees are 260% more motivated to work, have 41% lower rates of absenteeism, and are 50% less likely to look for another job. But consider this: We also found that roughly one in four workers don’t trust their employer.”

What to Expect from Giombetti Webinars

Each week we will guide you through an interactive webinar that breaks down how we can make effective use of these key skills to create more effective teams, stronger working relationship, and positive workplace morale. We’ll also encourage you to commit a short amount of time (15-20 minutes) each day to put the new skills we’ll be learning into practice.

How We’ll Make the Most of Your Experience (You and Us) – We ask all participants to:

  • Maintain full confidentiality. We follow the mantra, “What’s said here stays here, what’s learned here leaves here.”
  • Be an engaged learner. These sessions are both informational AND interactive. So, we ask that you come ready to listen and engage with your peers.
  • Challenge yourself to grow and support others in their growth. Practicing greater vulnerability and trust requires making some risky moves. We ask that you come ready to “learn by doing,” which will require equal measures of courage and grace to support your own growth and that of other participants.

Meet Andrea Capuano

Andrea’s personal mission is to “change the world one person at a time.” She adopted this mindset early in her career and works to embody it in all she does, both personally and professionally. She has individually coached hundreds of people to do the same, while creating group programs to bring this spirit to life within organizations.

Her 30-plus-year career has encompassed all facets of Human Resources, from entry-level administration through executive leadership. The majority of that time was spent with an employee-owned office equipment dealership, where she helped to create an award-winning culture. When the company was acquired, she presented her approaches to leadership and organizational programming to their parent company, who were impressed enough to send her traveling across the US to share her knowledge with hundreds of other leaders. She eventually co-led a virtual leadership program, engaging with leaders from all over the world.

Andrea became a client and fan of Giombetti Associates in the early 2000s and began including the Performance Dynamics® process in many of her executive and pre-executive programs. Caving in to her persistence, Ross finally allowed Andrea to join the team as a coach in 2022, after tiring of being asked. “What was I supposed to do?” Ross exclaims. “She wouldn’t go away!” In truth, her boldness, perseverance, and candor make her a natural fit for our organization. When she’s not helping clients, she’s usually with her husband Mark, their children and grandchildren, or with the rest of their giant family. You may see her gardening, playing with the neighborhood community cats, picking stalls at Whispering Grace Horses, mentoring students from Malone University, or collaborating with other busy ladies from Women’s Impact.  An advocate of servant leadership, she is also a small group facilitator for Heart to Heart Leadership.
