Bobby O’Neil had already been working on various projects with Giombetti Associates for over 5 years when he decided to join as a permanent member of the team in 2021. (Whether the team actually wanted him to join became inconsequential because he moved all of his belongings into the office and for now, we’re stuck.) With over 25 years of experience in Operations, Manufacturing, and Human Resources ranging from a Fortune 100 corporation to a local family-owned business, his greatest successes in senior management have been in helping companies develop their employees individually and collectively into the best version of themselves. Bobby is a process-minded operations leader who excels in identifying inefficiencies in and improving upon business workflows, recruitment and training practices, communication methods, and succession plans. Managing change in a fun, collaborative, and oftentimes grassroots learning approach is his hallmark style.
He has earned both an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from Western New England University and continues to keep close ties to the University as a volunteer member of the engineering department’s alumni-mentor program since its inception over 20 years ago.
He calls Western Mass his home along with his wife, two boys, and two dogs and they all are diehard Red Sox, Bruins, and Patriots fans since birth; yes, including the dogs. When you don’t see him at the office or home, Bobby can usually be found on a diamond in the Western Mass area, coaching youth baseball or playing in adult leagues, trying desperately to relive his youth while also trying desperately to not get injured (cue “Glory Days”).
